Sehat Kahani feels proud to announce that Nida Shehzad, Digital & Innovation Lead, has been awarded the prestigious The Diana Award. She has received this award for her contributions to women empowerment through the use of Digital technology in the development of healthcare delivery in Pakistan. The Diana Award was established in the memory of Princess Diana of Wales. This is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9-25 years can receive for their social action or humanitarian work. It highlights and celebrates the work youth do for the betterment of society. Nida has earned this award for Pakistan through her demonstrated dedication towards enhancing healthcare services in communities all over Pakistan, and by sharing her message across various countries through her participation in the UNDP Speakers’ Programmes.

On the honour of being bestowed this award, Nida shared, “Women can make great things happen if only they believe in themselves and allow others to as well. I am extremely honoured to have received this accolade and hope to inspire young girls to not only discover their true potential but also be passionate enough to achieve it!”

Sehat Kahani is an organization that provides affordable & convenient primary healthcare services for all using e-health solutions, through home based female doctors. Nida’s contributions with social media outreach and collaborations with other organisations to conduct campaigns have helped Sehat Kahani make great strides in providing easy access to primary healthcare in Pakistan.
